Are you as in love with contact paper as I am? There are so many things you can do with it. Today I am going to highlight what I am sure will be the first of many easy contact paper ideas - contact paper art. What makes this contact paper art so unique is the sticky surface where kids will be creating.
I do many projects with A and B but it's harder to find things for C since she is 18 months old and still loves to put everything in her mouth. But this activity is perfect for little ones.
Cut up some pieces of tissue paper. I like to use all different colors but if you were studying a particular color it would be pretty to have different shades of that color.
C had tons of fun just sticking and unsticking her hands. I then gave her the tray of tissue paper and demonstrated how to stick it on. She loved saying "stick" as she placed each piece of tissue paper.
Eventually she just started squishing and throwing the remaining tissue paper so this was all C added. But no project is safe when you have a sibling. Big sis A came along and added her own spin.
A found the tissue paper wrapper and crumpled it up and added it to the mix.
I think it gives it flair!
