Review and Giveaway: blankZ

My girls love to color and draw and do all sorts of art activities. They also love playing with stuffed animals. The smart folks at blankZ have combined two things kids love to make blankZ plush toys.

The toys come blank with special markers that allow your child to create their own unique designs. But what makes blankZ so special is that the markers wash out, allowing your children to create an entirely new toy. Now that's recycling!

We received three blankZ plush toys:

Un-Sealed,

 Ele-Faint,

and Bare Hare.

The kids were very excited to meet their new friends. They got to work right away coloring them in. Even my 2 year old was able to design her own unique creation.

Be sure to use only blankZ markers on the animals. Then when you grow tired of the design, you can wash them and start again.

I love that this is a toy that can really grow with your child. My twins are 3 and my youngest is 2, so right now their animals just look scribbled on, but as they get older I imagine they will take on animal features like eyes, noses etc...

My princess was intent on coloring both sides of her bunny's ears.

The finished hare and elephant. Or are they finished? With blankZ, you are never quite finished.

The girls did get some marker on their hands. Most came off with soap and water and the rest came off in the bath. You will want to be sure that your child only plays with blankZ with dry hands. One of my daughter's grabbed the elephant after washing her hands and she got marker on her hands. Also, you will want to keep an eye on really little ones to make sure they don't put their blankZ in their mouth. My youngest did and she looked like she was sporting a mustache!

I have already washed the animals and they look as good as new. I made the seal into a special Valentine's message for my girls. I have little artitsic ability and it still came out pretty cute. The blankZ also come with a background card that can also be decorated.
