Review and Giveaway: VeggieTales Robin Good and His Not So Merry Men

If you have kids, chances are you are familiar with the VeggieTales series. These Christian children's DVDS feature a delightful group of vegetables that teach and entertain kids of all ages. We were recently given the opportunity to review Robin Good and His Not So Merry Men.

My kids were hooked with the opening song. If you have not heard the VeggieTales theme song, it is very catchy and you will be singing it long after the DVD is over.  Robin Good's mission is to fund raise from the rich and give to the poor. He faces some opposition along the way, but faces it with grace. My kids (3 year old twins and a 2 year old) are really too young to understand the theme. Luckily, you don't have the know the story of Robin Hood to be able to enjoy the DVD. There is plenty of humor and great music and animation to keep even the youngest viewer engaged.

The DVD also has some great bonuses such as Silly Songs with Larry and two singalong songs, "Things Will Get Better," and "Prince of Ham." The singalongs were big hits with my kids who love much and had fun point out words they recognized on the screen.

I love the fact that I can feel comfortable sharing these DVDS with my kids. I don't have to worry about the language they are using or the lessons they are learning. Best of all, I love the elements of faith interwoven in each DVD.
