- Paper towels
- Frozen berries
Okay, you've got to love a two item supply list. And I bet you already have the paper towels. I have had the frozen berries sitting in the freezer for some time and this seemed like a good use for them.
Place some frozen berries in a glass bowl. I used a white ceramic bowl and was worried about staining but luckily didn't have any. Still, do as I say and not as I do, and use a glass bowl. Microwave the berries until they are thawed. Mine took about one minute.
When they are thawed, mash the berries with a fork to get as much juice as possible from them.
Cut some egg shapes out of paper towels. I have so much trouble with egg shapes, but they ended up looking fairly oval like.
Next, have your child dip their folded paper towel into the bowl of mashed berry juice.
When they take out the paper towel have them carefully turn it so that they can dip another section.
When they are done dipping, open up the paper towel eggs and admire the designs. My kids liked finding ones that looked like faces.
I like how the one on the right looks like a heart.
Place on some wax paper or old newspaper to dry.
