We recently had the opportunity to review a wonderful children's book published by Tommy Nelson. Gabby's Stick-to-It Day (written by Sheila Walsh) is a fun book that your little princess is sure to love. You will love how it teaches young girls (recommended for ages 3-7) a valuable lesson in perseverance.
My girls struggle with sticking with something when it becomes challenging. Just the other day "A" was working on a puzzle and could not get a piece to fit. She got upset and threw the piece down and gave up. We talk a lot at our house about not giving up and I love how Gabby's Stick-to-It Day really teaches that lesson in a fun, memorable way.
The girls were all ears for the story. Gabby is angel who watches over a girl named Sophie. Sophie has a habit of giving up just when things get tricky. Luckily, Gabby is there to help her along and let Sophie know that God loves her and is always with her. My kids loved Gabby and the other angels in the story. The illustrations are so cheerful and kid friendly. See for yourself here. The book helped them to learn that God does not want us to give up.
Buy it here for $11.99 or win it Mess For Less. That's right, thanks to our friends at Thomas Nelson, you have the chance to win your very own copy of Gabby's Stick-to-It Day! Rules and entry are below. Good luck!
