What I love above creating art with torn paper is that it doesn’t need to be perfect. In fact, the less perfect it is, the better it looks. This makes this medium great for kids. They can just tear the paper in various ways and still achieve a work of art. I decided to have the kids make a Halloween themed torn art picture. Tearing the paper really gives kids a wonderful opportunity to practice their fine motor skills. The pieces of black construction paper that are used for eyes and mouths have to be torn pretty small. Hope you enjoy this pumpkin art with torn paper.
