How to make Instant Pot red potatoes
Cooking potatoes in the Instant Pot is really quite simple. Pour one cup of water into the instant pot insert.
Add the steamer basket to the Instant Pot.
Wash red potatoes and add them to the steamer basket. Place the lid onto the Instant Pot.
Turn valve on lid to sealed position. Press the pressure cook or manual button and set the timer to 30 minutes. It will take about 10 minutes to come to pressure and then the potatoes need to be cooked for another 30 minutes. When the pot stops counting and beeps, release the pressure from the valve on the lid.
When the potatoes are ready, remove them using tongs and serve with any toppings you desire.
If you are not serving these right away, you can add more water and keep them on the keep warm setting. Just be aware that it does make the skin more moist.
