Very Berry Chocolate Smoothie - This yummy and nutritious smoothie makes a great breakfast on busy mornings. #ad #BreakfastEssentials #PMedia

This is a sponsored post. I don’t know about you, but mornings are the most hectic time around my house. I have three kids to get ready for school or activities, lunches to make and blog related tasks to take care of. If there is a way to get my morning off to a better start and send my kids to school with a nutritious breakfast then I am all for it. This is an easy solution for those busy mornings.
Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of Carnation Breakfast Essentials in Rich Milk Chocolate
  • 3/4 cup of cold fat free milk
  • 1/3 cup of frozen or fresh blueberries
  • 3 frozen or fresh strawberries
If you are using fresh fruit, you will want to add 1/2 cup of ice cubes. If you are using frozen fruit, then you can skip the ice cubes.

Place all the ingredients in blender and cover. Blend until smooth.

My daughter helped with this part. It’s great to be able to have the kids help make their own breakfast.

She drank her Very Berry Chocolate Smoothie right up! One packet of Carnation Breakfast Essentials made enough for my three kids to each have a good sized portion. I made a batch for myself and added a little whipped cream on top. Yum! The flavor of the smoothie is like that of chocolate covered strawberries. I could get used to this kind of breakfast!
