This Maple French Toast Casserole can be made the night before and baked in the morning. The easy and delicious way to make French toast.

Cut bread into cubes or tear into small pieces and place in a large bowl. Set aside.

Beat eggs and add milk, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and maple syrup. Mix to combine.

Pour egg mixture over the bread cubes in the bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes.

Scoop bread and any remaining liquid from bowl into greased casserole pan.

Sprinkle the sugar on top of the casserole.

Remove from oven and dust with confectioner's sugar. Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup on top.
