These hot chocolate spoons are so cute and make a great gift idea! Hot cocoa spoons are simple to make with kids and they make a yummy cup of hot chocolate.

  • Use a toothpick dipped in black food coloring to create a snowman face on mini marshmallows.
  • Use the toothpick dipped in black food coloring to make some buttons on mini marshmallow. Then use some longer sprinkles to make the arms. Simply push two sprinkles into the sides of a mini marshmallow to make the arms.
  • Melt chocolate in a double boiler.
  • Scoop some melted chocolate onto each plastic spoon, covering the entire inside part of the spoon.
  • Push marshmallow faces and bodies into the the chocolate on the spoon to make a snowman. You can also add crushed candy canes, sprinkles and colored sugar to the chocolate.
  • Place the hot chocolate spoons on a parchment lined tray to dry and refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.
