My favorite recipe for delicious Apple Cookies. Chunks of apple make these the perfect fall treat!

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, cream the butter with the white and brown sugars.
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla until thoroughly blended.
  • In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon.
  • Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients until blended.
  • Add oats,apples and almonds.
  • Drop cookie dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto parchment lined cookie sheets.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.

Notes

Rolled oats work best in this recipe. 
Granny Smith apples are great in this recipe if you prefer a more tart taste and Fuji apples work well if you prefer a sweeter apple.
