Air fryer biscuit donuts are the perfect way to make quick, easy and better-for-you homemade donuts in the air fryer. These donuts are ready in 5 minutes!
Remove the biscuits from the tube and separate them.
Cut the center out of each biscuit using a 1 inch circular cookie cutter. Set aside the holes that have been cut out.
Spray the tray of the air fryer with air fryer safe cooking spray and place the donuts on the tray.
Bake the doughnuts for 5 minutes until they are golden brown. Remove the donuts from the air fryer and place on a plate.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cinnamon and sugar. Set aside.
Melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl. Brush the tops and bottoms of the doughnuts with the butter, using a pastry brush.
Dip the butter covered donut into the bowl with cinnamon and sugar, until it is completely covered.
Donuts are best served warm.
If you want powdered sugar covered donuts, follow the same steps, but dip in a bowl of confectioner's sugar.
At this point you can also make donut holes by placing insides of the biscuits you set aside in the air fryer for 5-7 minutes at 350 degrees. Follow the directions above to coat them with sugar.
