Soft Candy Cane Sugar Cookie Recipe
makes light and flavorful sugar cookies.
These sugar cookies are dipped in white chocolate and coated in a burst of peppermint crunch.
Combine flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
In another bowl, combine sugar, light brown sugar and butter with a mixer until thoroughly combined.
Add egg and vanilla to the butter and sugar mixture and mix until combined.
Add the dry ingredients to the larger bowl with the wet ingredients and mix until it turns into a dough.
Use a cookie scoop or measure the dough into 1 ½ heaping tablespoons. Place the dough on the parchment paper.
Bake for 7 to 8 minutes
Dip the cookies in the melted white chocolate or spoon the white chocolate on half of the cookie.
Sprinkle with crushed candy cane pieces.
Let the chocolate harden and then these candy cane cookies are ready to eat!
