Liquid Watercolor Decorated Eggs

Using droppers and liquid watercolors to create vibrantly colored eggs for Easter.

Materials

Instructions

  • Pour some of each liquid watercolor into a separate cup.
  • Have your child fill their dropper from the paint in the cup.
  • Place an egg for your child to decorate in a small fruit cup and let them color the outside of the egg using the liquid watercolors and dropper.
  • Place the eggs in an empty egg carton to dry. They will be dry to the touch in about an hour.

  •  Liquid watercolors are not safe to consume so these eggs are for decorative purposes only. Do not eat.
  • This will be a messy activity so you will want to have your child wear a smock.
