  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar using a mixer. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Add milk, egg, cinnamon, and vanilla extract, to bowl and continue mixing until everything is incorporated.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and the packets of instant oatmeal.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until dough forms.
  • Lastly, fold in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts until they are evenly distributed.
  • Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounds of cookie dough onto a parchment lined baking sheet about two inches apart.
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until the cookies turn a light, golden brown.
  • Remove the cookies from the oven and transfer them to a wire rack to cool.
