Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Boil 16 oz of pasta according to package directions. Drain and return to pot.
Add three tablespoons of butter to the pasta and stir to evenly coat it.
Spray cooking spray on a casserole dish.
After draining the pasta, add half of it to the bottom of the casserole dish. Top with half of the chopped chicken and ¾ cup of shredded cheese.
Add another layer of pasta and add the remainder of the chopped chicken.
Top off with the remaining ¾ cup of shredded cheese.
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes until the cheese has melted and the meal is cooked through.
When it comes out of the oven add some tortilla strips and 3 tablespoons of ranch dressing to the top.
