Ranch Chicken and Pasta Bake - the perfect easy family meal. The cheesy chicken and ranch flavor make this a winner!

I made this chicken and pasta casserole using a 3 qt casserole dish. Adjust your ingredients if you are making a larger size.

    Ingredients

    • 4 Tyson Grilled and Ready Chicken Breasts
    • 1 lb box Farfalle pasta (use any variety)
    • Tortilla strips
    • 3 tablespoons of ranch dressing
    • 3 tablespoons of butter
    • 1 ½ cups of shredded cheese (we used a cheddar and jack mix)

Chop the chicken breasts into bite sized pieces.

We used around ¾ of a 1 pound box of pasta. Boil your pasta according to package directions. Drain and return to pot. Add three tablespoons of butter to the pasta and stir to evenly coat it. Spray cooking spray on a casserole dish. After draining the pasta, add half of it to the bottom of the casserole dish. Then top with half of the chopped chicken and ¾ cup of shredded cheese. Add another layer of pasta and add the remainder of the chopped chicken.

Top off with the remaining ¾ cup of shredded cheese.

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes until the cheese has melted and the meal is cooked through. When it comes out of the oven add some tortilla strips and 3 tablespoons of ranch dressing to the top.

FAQs For Ranch Chicken and Pasta Casserole

How do I store leftover Ranch Chicken and Pasta Bake?

I just pop any leftovers in an airtight container and keep them in the fridge. They stay good for up to 3 days. When I'm ready to eat, I reheat it in the microwave for a couple of minutes until warm. If you want, you can cover it with foil and reheat in the oven at 350°F until it’s heated through.

What’s the best way to reheat this dish so it doesn’t dry out?

I always add a splash of milk or a little bit of ranch dressing on top before reheating to keep everything from drying out. Cover with a microwave-safe lid or some foil if you’re using the oven. It usually just takes a few minutes in the microwave or about 15–20 minutes in the oven at 350°F.

I missed where the ranch dressing comes in. Do you add it to the butter and mix with noodles? Or add it to the chicken after cutting into bite size pieces?

The casserole looks so good! I love all these programs that give back to schools. Our schools desperately need the support.

Your pasta bake looks delicious! Yes, as a Mom of a child entering Kindergarten as well I have seen the need for school funding and items. So glad that we already buy Tyson products so this will be easy to do. Thanks for sharing.
