  • Pre-heat oven 425 degrees.
  • Brown ground beef and then add the sloppy Joe sauce to the ground beef. Stir to combine.
  • Place the bread on a greased baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes at 425 degrees.
  • Top Texas Toast with sloppy Joe meat.
  • Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  • Return to the oven to bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the bread has toasted.
  • Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • We used shredded mozzarella cheese but shredded cheddar cheese would work as well.
  • You will want to serve these shortly after cooking them. Letting them sit will cause the bread to become soggy and believe me, you want it crispy!
