St Patrick's Day Votive Craft

Make a St. Patrick's Day Votive with kids. This fun craft project will allow kids to create a work of art you can display in your home. Such a fun St. Patrick's Day activity!

Instructions

  •  Cut small circles out of the green tissue paper. Provide your child with the circles along with Mod Podge in a cup, a brush, and a votive candle holder.
  • Have your child dab some Mod Podge on the glass and stick a green circle on it. They will continue to do this until they have filled the outside of the glass votive.
  • When the kids are done decorating the candle holder, cover it with a thin layer of Mod Podge. I found this step was a lot easier for an adult to do.
  • The Mod Podge will dry clear in about 15-20 minutes.
  • When the candle is dry you can place a battery-operated tealight candle inside.
