Halloween Activites: Candy Corn Counting
This Candy Corn Counting game is a fun Halloween activity that takes little time to set up and can played using any variety of candy you happen to have around.
Materials
- Candy Corn
- 10 Foam Pumpkins
- Permanant Marker
Instructions
- Get 10 foam pumpkins and write the numbers 1-10 on them. Fill a cup with candy corn.
- Children will be placing the correct number of candy corns on each pumpkin.
- Have kids count when they are done with each pumpkin to check their work.
Notes
- This game but be a little tempting for kids, so you can set aside a small amount of candy corn for them to enjoy.
- You can extend this math activity by asking kids questions: which is the biggest number? Smallest? How many do you have if you add the candy from 2 pumpkins together?
