  • Clean the mushrooms by washing them under water and removing any dirt. Dry with a paper towel.
  • Pre-Heat the air fryer to 350 degrees.
  • Brush each side of the mushroom cap with olive oil.
  • Place the mushrooms in the air fryer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove mushrooms from air fryer and spread pizza sauce on them.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  • Top with pepperoni.
  • Place the portobello pizzas in the air fryer basket and bake for 5 minutes.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • If the mushrooms have stems, remove them. You can remove the gills by scraping the inside with a spoon. You can also just eat them.
  • Be creative with your toppings and try different combinations to suit your tastes. You can add veggies such as onions, garlic, bell peppers, black olives, spinach, or fresh basil.
  • Keep an eye on the pizza while baking to avoid burning the cheese or overcooking the mushrooms.
