Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a large skillet brown the ground sausage, breaking it up into small chunks. Drain grease and set aside pan.
Lay an unrolled crescent sheet on the bottom of a greased 9x13 casserole dish.
Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the crescent dough layer.
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sour cream, salt and pepper.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the crescent dough and sausage.
Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until eggs have set.
