  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • If the chicken isn’t already cooked, cook it first and cut it into cubes.
  • Place the cooked chicken in the bottom of a greased 8×8-inch casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle half of the bacon over the chicken, followed by the diced onion and half of the shredded cheese.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, sour cream, and ranch dressing.
  • Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken.
  • Top with the remaining cheese and bacon. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Bake for 35 minutes, covering loosely with foil during the last 10 minutes if the top browns too quickly.
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

  • Remember, it’s better to grate your own cheese from a block of cheddar instead of using pre-shredded packaged cheese. This will give you a gooier, stretchier cheese.
