Honey Nut Cheerios Treats are the ultimate snack if you are short on time but still want a sweet treat. With just a few ingredients and minimal prep, you can make a snack the entire family will love!

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup butter
  • 10 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 5 cups honey nut cheerios

Instructions
 

  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Melt ¼ cup butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Stir constantly to prevent the butter from browning.
  • When the butter has melted, add the mini marshmallows to the saucepan. Stir until all the marshmallows are melted.
  • Add Honey Nut Cheerios to the pan with the melted marshmallows. Stir to cover all of the cereal thoroughly with the marshmallows.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to press the mixture down evenly.
  • Let the treats stand for 15 to 30 minutes before eating. 
  • Cut the treats into squares or rectangles.

  • You can also pop them in the refrigerator for a quicker set, but be sure not to leave them in too long, as they can become too hard.
