  • Pour 1 cup of cold water into the bottom of the Instant Pot inner pot.
  • Poke the potatoes in several spots with a fork.
  • Place the potatoes in the pot, stacking if necessary.
  • Close the lid and set the steam release valve to the sealing position.
  • Pressure cook on high pressure for 20 minutes.
  • Once the cooking time is complete, perform a quick release.
  • Remove the potatoes from the Instant Pot, slice and add your preferred toppings.

  • When the cook time is up, use the quick-release method to let out the steam. 
  • Get creative with potato toppings. Butter and chives, sour cream, melted cheese, and bacon bits work well.
