Ingredients

  • 72 Pretzel Rods or Sticks
  • 12 Oreo Cookies
  • 24 Candy Eyes
  • 12 pieces Candy Corn

Instructions

  • Carefully separate an Oreo cookie and place the half with no frosting to the side.
  • Gently press the pretzel rods on the Oreo half that has the filling on it to create spider legs. Remove a little of the frosting on the Oreo with a butter knife and set aside.
  • Place the other half of the Oreo on top.
  • Use the bit of frosting you removed from the cookie as glue to stick on the two candy eyeballs onto each Oreo Spider.
  • Break the tip of the candy corn off and stick it on the Oreo using a bit of frosting to create a mouth. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can also use store bought frosting or peanut butter as a "glue" for the spider eyes and nose.
  • If you are making Halloween spider cookies for a party, you can assemble them the day before and keep in an airtight container for a day.
