Our Pot Roast Crock Pot Recipe simplifies dinner prep, delivering perfectly cooked beef, tender vegetables, and delicious gravy—all ready for you to enjoy at the end of a busy day!
Heat up a skillet over medium-high heat and toss in some oil. Once the oil is hot, add the beef and sear it for about a minute on each side until it's nicely browned all over. Set it aside.
Chop the potatoes and carrots into 1-inch chunks, peeling them if you want. Set those aside.
While the beef is searing, throw the beef cubes into hot water and let them dissolve, giving them a stir if needed.
Add the carrots and potatoes to the slow cooker, then place the seared beef on top, and sprinkle on your favorite spices.
Pour in the garlic and beef broth, cover it up, and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
When it’s done, carefully take the beef out of the slow cooker and chop or shred it into 4-6 pieces.
Drain the juices and whisk in some cornstarch until the gravy thickens. If it gets too thick, feel free to add a splash of water.
Serve it all up on a plate with veggies and gravy. Enjoy!
