These Spring Rice Krispie Treats are loaded with sprinkles, colorful, and fun! They have the classic flavor we all love with a festive twist.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup Pastel colored sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter in a large pot over low heat.
  • Add mini marshmallows and stir until they have completely melted and incorporated with the butter.
  • Remove mixture from heat and mix in the Rice Krispies.
  • Add ¾ cup of sprinkles and gently stir to combine.
  • Press the mixture into a greased 8x8 inch baking pan.
  • Sprinkle ¼ cup of sprinkles over the top and gently push into the treats.
  • Allow the treats to cool and firm up before cutting them into squares.

Notes

  • To prevent the mixture from sticking to your hands, spray your hands with cooking spray.
  • For neat squares when cutting, let the treats set and spray a knife with cooking spray before slicing.
