Now that you have made some Santa crafts, here are some of our favorite books about the big guy to read with your kids.

    How Santa Got His Job

Did you ever wonder how Santa got to be Santa. This fun book explains it all, including Santa's previous jobs. A great read aloud for the Christmas season.

When Santa Lost His Ho Ho Ho

Santa lost his laugh? How can he get it back again? Kids will enjoy the silly things he tries to get his ho, ho, ho back.

    The Night Before Christmas

This is a classic story and my favorite version is this one with illustrations from Mary Engelbreit. Gorgeous! My husband reads this book every Christmas Eve.

    Santa's Birthday Gift

This books helps us explain Santa in the context of the Christmas story. This is my favorite book to read the kids at Christmas.

Santa Claus: The Magical World of Father Christmas

My kids love the sneak peek at North Pole that they see in this book. The pictures are stunning and so full of detail you will believe!
