Finally, place cheese curds in the air fryer in a single layer at 350° for 3 minutes. Then remove them from the air fryer and flip the curds. Cook 3-5 minutes longer or until the curds are light browned, and have turned crispy. At this point they will have started to melt inside.

    Frequently asked questions

What is the best air fryer to use?

I have had a few different air fryers before settling on my favorite - the Cuisinart Convection Toaster Oven Air Fryer. First of all it's beautiful, and if you are going to have something on your counter all the time, it might as well look great. This air fryer replaces a toaster oven and holds a huge capacity of food when cooking for a family.

Why is airfrying cheese curds better than deep frying?

Air frying results in less greasy food than traditional deep frying. As a result, you get all of the crisp without all the oil.

What kind of dipping sauce works best with air fryer cheese balls?

I love cheese curds with ranch dressing or marinara sauce. Culvers offers some recipes for cheese curd dipping sauces.

Do you need to use white cheddar cheese curds?

If you can't find white cheddar cheese curds, any flavor of cheese curd will work.

How can I make fried cheese curds gluten free?

You can enjoy gluten free cheese curds by using gluten free flour and breadcrumbs.

I can't wait to throw these into my air fryer! We always order cheese curds as an app when they are available, because the kiddos devour them.
