    1. Spread it out: Dump everything onto your sheet pan and spread it out in a single layer. Be sure to leave enough space between the pieces so they can roast nicely.
    2. Bake and flip: Roast for 15 minutes, then use tongs to give everything a quick toss. Bake for another 10-15 minutes until the potatoes are tender.

Tips for Sausage and Veggies Sheet Pan

Tip 1: If you are pressed for time, cut the potatoes smaller so they'll cook faster.
Tip 2: Don't overcrowd the pan. Use two pans if you need to. Crowding traps steam and prevents browning.
Tip 3: Switch up the sausage! Chicken sausage or andouille work just as well.

FAQs for Sheet Pan Sausage and Veggie Bake

    Can I use frozen vegetables?

You can, but they'll release more moisture and won't brown as well. Fresh veggies work best for this recipe.

Can I make this ahead of time?

Yes! Chop the ingredients and store it in a zip-top bag in the refrigerator. When you're ready, just toss with oil and seasoning and bake.

    How do I store leftovers?

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. They taste best if reheated in the oven or air fryer, not the microwave, so they stay crisp.

    Ingredients

    • 14 oz kielbasa sliced
    • 2 cups broccoli florets
    • 1 red bell pepper chopped
    • 1 yellow bell pepper chopped
    • 1 lb baby potatoes halved
    • 2 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • ½ teaspoon paprika
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • ½ teaspoon pepper
    • 2 tablespoon shredded parmesan
    • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley optional

    Instructions

    • Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
    • Chop sausage and vegetables into bite-size pieces.
    • In a large bowl, mix olive oil with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
    • Add sausage and vegetables to the bowl and toss to coat.
    • Spread evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.
    • Bake for 15 minutes, toss, and bake another 10-15 minutes until everything is tender and lightly browned.
    • Sprinkle with parmesan and parsley before serving.

    Notes

    • Cut the potatoes a little smaller if you're in a hurry - they'll roast quicker that way.
    • Make sure everything has space on the pan. If it's too crowded, it'll steam instead of roast. Use two pans if needed.
    • If you want some extra crispy edges, turn on the broiler for the last couple of minutes. Just keep an eye on it so nothing burns.
