Next, microwave 1 cup of candy corn until it has melted.  You will melt the candy corn in intervals, stirring in between each. You can use the same cup you used for the marshmallows.

After about ¾ of a cup, you can take the mixture out of the bowl and use your hands to mix in the remaining powdered sugar. Be careful, as it can still be hot.

Continue to add powdered sugar until the consistency is as you would like it. If you need to improve the elasticity, you can add a little more canola oil.

This is the most ‘slimy’ when it is warm.  If it begins to harden while you are making it, or you simply want to play with a softer slime, pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds and it will ready to go!

This slime can be stored in an airtight container if your kids don't want to play with it right away. After noticing my kids leaving slime everywhere and finding lots of messes, I purchased these containers and they have been a life saver.

While this slime is edible, I would still supervise kids with it. I mean, it is mostly made from sugar, and you don't  want your child to eat the whole thing in one sitting.

LOL, my nieces and nephews would probably love this but I think my siblings would disown me if I made it with them and caused a mess. Looks yummy too!
