⭐Why Candy Corn Cake Mix Cookies Are Awesome
- Just 5 ingredients are needed to make festive Halloween cookies!
- You can have these tasty treats ready in just 15 minutes.
- This recipe produces soft and chewy cookies.
🥣Ingredient Notes
- Cake mix - Takes the place of all purpose flour and sugar. Use yellow or white cake mix. If you use white cake mix you can add some yellow or orange food coloring.
- Eggs - Provides structure to the cookies and helps them to keep their shape. I used 2 large eggs.
- Canola Oil - You can also use vegetable oil.
- Yellow Food Coloring - If you want your cookies to have more of a Halloween look, you can add yellow or orange food coloring to create yellow dough or orange dough.
- Candy Corn - You will use these to top the cookies. They add a different texture and make the cookies just pop!

📋How To Make Candy Corn Cookies
STEP 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add the cake mix, canola oil, eggs, and a few drops of yellow food coloring (if desired) to a large mixing bowl. Mix to incorporate all the ingredients.

STEP 2: Using a cookie scoop, drop cookie dough balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Place the cookie dough a few inches apart.

STEP 3: Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees.

STEP 4: When you remove the cookies from the oven, carefully push 3 candy corn candies into each cookie. You will want to do this before the cookies have a chance to firm up. Place the cookies on wire racks to cool.

Once the cookies have cooled, the candy corn will be embedded in the top of the cookies and they won't fall out.

These are the perfect festive cookies for Halloween or Fall!

👩🏻🍳Expert Tips
Tip 1: Make sure to push the candy corn deep enough into the still-warm cookie so that it will not fall out when the cookie hardens.
