Mummy Oreo Bark
You will need:
Before you make this mummy Oreo bark, you will want to spread a piece of parchment paper over your counter. Not only will this will help make clean up easier, but you will be spreading the bark on the parchment paper.
Melt the white candy melts in a bowl according to package instructions. If you are making this for a party, you can use the whole bag. If you are just making this as a snack, you would use less candy melts.
While the candy is melting, crush 6-7 Oreos. If you are a big fan of Oreos, you can add more, but you want this Oreo mummy bark to remain mostly white so that it looks like a mummy.
Quickly, after the candy has finished melting, spread ¾ of the melted candy melts over the parchment paper. It doesn’t have to look perfect since we will placing toppings on it.
Sprinkle crushed Oreos over the top of the candy melts.
Add the candy eyes into the melted candy melts for an extra spooky touch.
Finish by drizzling the remaining ¼ melted candy melts over the top to make the ‘’mummy wrapping’’ look. My kids really enjoyed this part!
Allow the mummy Oreo bark to set and harden.
Once it has hardened, break the bark into pieces. I like to make sure that each piece of bark has a pair of eyes in it.
Store in an airtight container.
These would be adorable placed in a small plastic treat bag, tied with a ribbon, given to trick or treaters or for a classroom treat.
