I was looking for a quick and easy snack for my kids and honestly it doesn't get any easier than these 3 Ingredient Cinnamon Sugar Twists. What is the secret? Crescent rolls! You will find they are used in many family friendly recipes because they are so versatile. We have used them in the past to make Fruit Filled Crescent Cups and Blackberry Crescent Rolls. These twists make a great summer snack because they can be made in the toaster oven so you don't have to heat up your entire kitchen.

    • 3 tablespoons of sugar
crescent roll tube, cinnamon and sugar

Preheat oven or toaster oven to 375 degrees. Open up your tube of biscuits and unroll. Push the perforations together with your fingers to make a large, flat piece.

Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into slices.

Remove from the sugar and form into a twist. Place in a greased pan in a 375 degree oven or toaster oven for 8-10 minutes or until they turn a golden brown. Keep an eye on them as they cook because they will cook quicker than ordinary crescents because they are thinner.

These are best served warm and will make your house smell amazing. When my daughter woke from her nap she said, "why does the house smell so good?"

You won't be able to eat just one - these 3 Ingredient Cinnamon Sugar Crisps are THAT good. They are great the next day too, just pop them in the microwave for a few seconds. You can also use crescent roll dough to make these Nutella and Marshmallow Crescent Rolls from Real Life at Home.

    FAQs For Cinnamon Sugar Twists

Can I use a different kind of dough?

Yes! Puff pastry works great, but you can also try crescent roll dough if that’s what you have on hand. Just watch the bake time, as it may vary slightly.

Can I make these ahead of time?

You can prep them a few hours ahead and store them in the fridge until you're ready to bake. They taste best fresh, but you can also reheat leftovers in the oven.

How should I store any leftovers?

Store cooled twists in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. They can also be frozen and reheated in a toaster oven or air fryer.
