    ⭐Why This Recipe Works

    • Just 3 ingredients! All you need are bananas, oats, and dried cranberries. For another yummy banana recipe, try these healthy banana oat pancakes.
    • These flour free snacks are a healthier option than most cookies.
    • It is easy to customize the recipe. You can add nuts or chocolate chips.
    • Simple ingredients - no eggs, dairy-free and gluten-free.

    🥣Ingredient Notes

    • Bananas - You will want to use ripe bananas for this recipe.
    • Rolled oats - I prefer these to quick oats in these cookies because they produce a better texture.
    • Dried cranberries - We just used Craisins. You can use raisins if you prefer.

    📋Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 350°F.

Use a fork to mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl.

STEP 6: Bake the cookies for 15-20 minutes, until the cookies are golden and the edges are crispy.

STEP 7: Remove the cookies from the oven. Let them cool on the baking sheet for 5-10 minutes before moving them to a wire rack to cool completely.

These make great breakfast cookies, a dessert, or snacks when you need a pick-me-up.

    👩🏻‍🍳Expert Tips

Tip 1: For flavor variations, you can add walnuts, pecans or almonds, Some of our favorite mix-ins include dark chocolate chips.

Tip 2: You can use frozen bananas if you don't have fresh bananas. Remove them from the freezer and allow them to thaw.

    🤷🏻‍♀️Recipe FAQs

How do you store these banana oatmeal cookies?

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 days and place in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Can I use a silicone mat instead of lining the cookie sheet with parchment paper?

    Yes, silicone mats work well.

These cookies are so easy to make, I actually managed to bake them without burning my kitchen down! And they taste delicious too - my friends couldn't believe they were only made with three ingredients. I'm already planning to make another batch tomorrow.
