    Donut Recipes

Easy donut recipes are popular because they save time and don't require frying or special equipment. You can use biscuit dough, cake mix, or store-bought donuts to make yummy treats. Here are some of my favorites:

    • Air Fryer Biscuit Donuts
    • Strawberry Shortcake Donut
    • Peanut Butter and Chocolate Cake Mix Donuts
    • Baked Cinnamon Donuts

    Ingredients For Easy Snowman Donuts

    • Mini white powdered donuts - These are used for the snowman face.
    • Mini chocolate chips - For the eyes and mouth.
    • Orange Starburst - These form the little "carrot" noses. You'll only need a few.

Best Kitchen Tools for Donut Snowmen

If you have kids and a kitchen, you're probably already set. But here are a few tools that help make things easier:

    • Toothpicks - Can help place the chocolate chips without smudging.
    • Small plate or tray - To keep the donuts steady while decorating.
    • Microwave (optional) - You can use this to slightly soften the Starburst, which makes them easier to roll.

How To Make Cute Snowman Donuts

    1. Prepare the donuts: Put 8 mini white donuts on a plate so they're ready to decorate.

    2. Add the eyes and mouth: Press mini chocolate chips point-side down into the donuts to form the eyes and a mouth. I used 5 chips for the mouth and 2 for the eyes.

      3. Make the noses: Take an orange Starburst, cut it into four pieces, and roll each piece into a little carrot shape using your fingers. If they're too hard to work with, you can microwave it for 3-5 seconds to soften.

      4. Attach the nose: Gently press the carrot nose into the hole of the donut. You don't need anything to hold it.

Tips For Making Easy Donut Snowman

Tip 1: Press the chocolate chips in slowly so the donut doesn't crumble.
Tip 2: If the Starburst is too hard to shape, microwave it for just a few seconds to soften.
Tip 3: Make sure the powdered donuts are in good shape and not too crushed so that the snowman faces look good.

        FAQs For Powdered Donut Snowman

Can I make these ahead of time?

You can make them a few hours ahead, but they're best when they are made the same day. If you make these too far in advance, the noses might harden or fall out.

What if I can't find orange Starburst?

Try orange Tootsie Rolls or cut a small piece of a gummy instead. Even an orange Mike & Ike can work in a pinch.

        How do you store these?

Store them in a single layer in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 6 hours.
