Are you as in love with contact paper as I am? There are so many things you can do with it, like this Contact Paper Shape Art that we made. Today I am going to highlight an easy contact paper idea - a Tissue Paper Sticky Window. What makes this contact paper art so unique is the sticky surface where kids will be creating.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO MAKE CONTACT PAPER ART?
I do many projects with A and B but it's harder to find things for C since she is 18 months old and still loves to put everything in her mouth. But this activity is perfect for little ones.
HOW TO MAKE STICKY CONTACT PAPER ART
Cut up some pieces of tissue paper. I like to use all different colors but if you were studying a particular color it would be pretty to have different shades of that color.
Next, peel off the backing on some contact paper and tape it to a wall or window. This is always tricky for me and I usually end up with the contact paper all stuck together. So after you untangle it and you little one gets their hands on it, it will look something like this.
C had tons of fun just sticking and unsticking her hands. I then gave her the tray of tissue paper and demonstrated how to stick it on. She loved saying "stick" as she placed each piece of tissue paper.
Eventually she just started squishing and throwing the remaining tissue paper so this was all C added. But no project is safe when you have a sibling. Big sis A came along and added her own spin.
A found the tissue paper wrapper and crumpled it up and added it to the mix.
I think it gives it flair!
What are you waiting for? Try some contact paper art with your kids.

Julie, thanks so much!

You've got great ideas. I will pass this on a mommy friend of mine. My kids are a bit to big now 😉

Thank you Laura! That means a lot coming from you. I love all your ideas.
Art For Little Hands
Very nice. I love how neat and organized you did it too. I just threw pieces of the tissue on the ground and by the end it was a real mess! Thanks for linking back to me. I love it!

Hi Susan, Thank you! Yes, I keep hearing they grow up so fast but sometimes when you are in the midst of it, it's hard to see.

Thank you Momma T!

Hello...found you on Mom Bloggers Club...have come to follow you. Would love it if you'd return the follow when you can. You have some really cool, inexpensive activities for kids. I know my daughter would have enjoyed many of these, if she were young again (I wish for that all the time...not realistic...but would really like it..she's grown too fast). Make it a great weekend!

I would do this activity when I worked as a Toddler Teacher. Fun Times! Following you back from the Blogging buddies hop. Thanks for stopping by! =)

Jenn, yes it would be crazy to do this with Lexi and her wet nose. LOL!

Girl, I'm sad I don't have a child to do these with, would it be crazy to put that on my french door, and have Lexi do it with her nose? Just kidding!! Glad the girls are having a blast.
