Crockpot gravy chicken is one of my go-to crock pot recipes that my family asks for again and again. This comfort food dish is an easy slow-cooker recipe you will love! Best of all, you only need 3 ingredients to make it!
Why this recipe works
- Just 3 ingredients needed!
- Crockpots make dinner so easy.
- Easy way to get out of your chicken rut.
What do you need to make 3 ingredient crockpot chicken and gravy?
I make recipes in the slow cooker at least twice a week such as Crockpot Chicken and Noodles. Between my job and shuttling kids to various activities, I often don't have a lot of time to spend cooking dinner. With my crockpot, I just throw in the ingredients and open it up in a few hours to a yummy meal.
What makes this Crockpot gravy chicken even more impressive is that the soup and gravy keeps the chicken moist while not overwhelming the chicken with gravy.
How to make this crockpot dinner
In a large bowl combine the cream of chicken soup and one envelope of chicken gravy mix. The packet of chicken gravy I used was 1.67 oz. If you are using a smaller size packet, consider using two to get close to that amount.
Place the boneless skinless chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Pour the mixture over the defrosted or fresh chicken breasts.
I get my chicken from ButcherBox, which delivers the healthiest, highest quality meat while causing as little harm as they can to the environment.
Cook in a slow cooker for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
When the chicken is cooked, shred the chicken breasts. I love using these shredding claws as a quick and easy way to shred chicken.
You can serve this with your choice of sides. Leftovers are good for a few days and are great for a quick lunch. Now you can see why this is one of my favorite slow cooker recipes.

Rice makes a great side. You can also serve this over mashed potatoes. This slow cooker chicken chicken is also delicious on a split warm biscuit.
