One of my favorite snacks or lunches when I was a kid are these English Muffin Pizzas. What I loved so much about them was that I could prepare them myself with some adult supervision. My kids love getting in the kitchen and helping out and so an easy recipe like this is perfect for them as well. Plus, who doesn't love pizza?

Why you need to try this English muffin pizzas recipe
- Easy enough for kids to make with minimal supervision
- Quick enough for an afterschool snack
- The crisp English muffin is perfectly topped with zesty sauce and gooey cheese.

Ingredients
For each English Muffin pizza:
- English Muffin
- Pizza sauce
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Pepperoni slices

How to make pizza English muffins
Preheat a toaster oven to 375 degrees.
You can cut the English Muffin in half or let your child do it with a butter knife. Most English Muffins are pre-split, so they are pretty easy to cut in half.

Spoon sauce onto each half of the English Muffin, making sure to cover most of the inside.

Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on each half of the English Muffin.

If your child likes pepperoni, they can add some now. If not, skip this step. 3 slices of pepperoni work perfectly on each half.

Pop these in a 375 degree toaster oven for 10 minutes or until the cheesy is nice and bubbly.

You can top these with some freshly grated Parmesan and some garlic powder and oregano. They are also delish as is. If your kids are more adventurous than mine, feel free to have them add their favorite veggies. It's hard to go wrong with a pizza on English muffin.

Frequently asked questions
The key to not getting soggy English muffin pizza is to make sure you don't add too much sauce. My recipe uses ⅛ cup of sauce on each half of muffin which works to create a perfectly cooked and crispy pizza.
You can, but you will not get the crispness that you will in the oven. To make microwave English muffin pizzas, follow the recipe above and place in the microwave for 40-45 seconds.
Sure, you can cook this in an air fryer instead of a traditional oven. Simply set the air fryer to 400 degrees and bake the pizzas for 5-6 minutes until done.

I have long been a proponent of cooking with kids. There are so many things kids learn helping out in the kitchen. Math, reading, chemistry, cooperation and more are used while following a recipe.

Why are you preheating the oven at 400 if toasting in toaster oven at 375. And what do you do with the bagel?
