How to Make Chicken Alfredo Casserole
To make this yummy casserole, start by preheating the oven to 425°F. Break your fettuccine pasta into thirds and cut the chicken breast into 1-inch pieces.

In a large cast iron skillet, combine the broken pasta, alfredo sauce, diced chicken, grated parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, and chicken broth, stirring well to mix everything evenly.

Cover the skillet with foil and place it on the middle rack of the oven to bake for 35 minutes. After baking, carefully remove the skillet from the oven and uncover it, stirring the mixture to ensure even cooking.

Next, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top and return the skillet to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden. Finally, chop fresh parsley or other fresh herbs and garnish the finished casserole before serving.

Tips for Making Chicken Alfredo Pasta
Tip 1: Fresh parsley and high-quality alfredo sauce make a big difference.
Tip 2: Make sure to cut the chicken breast into uniform pieces for consistent cooking.
Tip 3: For an added crunch, consider topping with some toasted breadcrumbs.

How Can I Store Leftover Chicken Alfredo Bake?
Store any leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to three days. When you're ready to enjoy them again, simply reheat them in the microwave or oven until they're warmed through.
What Kind Of Pasta Works Best In A Casserole?
I used fettuccine for this dish, but if you don't have it on hand or just want to switch up your pasta choice, you're in luck! While fettuccine is traditional for this dish, you can easily substitute it with other types. Even a short pasta like a fusilli or penne works well.
