The Olympic Games will be going on from August 5-21 and we are getting excited! My kids love sports and watching and cheering for the favorite athletes, so I know that they will have a ball watching the Olympics Games. If you are planning to celebrate with an Olympics Games party like we are, then you are probably looking for some easy appetizer recipes that will please a hungry crowd. You are going to love these chicken taco cups which can be made ahead of time in a slow cooker and put together by the guests at your party. This post has been sponsored by Bounty, but all opinions are my own. You’ll also love these Cheesy Taco Crescent Cups.

These Chicken Taco Cups are an easy appetizer to make for any party. My guests ask for them all the time! @Bounty ad

I love having friends and family over, but let’s face it, guests often equal mess, especially if your guests are parents with young children. But I am feeling no stress about our Olympic games party because I have Bounty paper towels. Bounty paper towels are a must-have as you prepare for your Olympic games party, serve your guests and clean up afterwards.

Bounty is a proud sponsor of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and has teamed up with one of the quickest women in the world, Four-Time Olympic Gold Medal Sprinter Allyson Felix. It is a perfect partnership when you think about it – the Quicker Picker Upper and one of the quickest women in the world.

Chicken Taco Cups

The chicken for these Chicken Taco Cups can be made ahead of time in a crock pot which makes this appetizer recipe so easy. It can cook while I clean with Bounty, and prepare my home for guests.

Once the chicken has been cooked with the salsa, simply shred it in the crock pot. Then it is simply a matter of layering the other ingredients in some small tortilla chip cups. I added shredded chicken, salsa, guacamole and cheese to these chicken taco cups, but you can vary the ingredients based on your preferences. I love the idea of setting up a bar where guests get to create their own taco cups. Simply set out the shredded chicken and different bowls of ingredients and party guests can customize their own taco cups.

Some different ingredients you can include:

  • salsa
  • guacamole
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • sliced olives
  • sour cream
  • chopped onions
  • chopped tomatoes
  • corn
  • ranch dressing

Really, the possibilities are endless. If you are going to let guests put their own toppings on these, be sure to have plenty of Bounty on hand to clean up any messes!

After your guests leave, it is time to clean up and Bounty can help. I use Bounty to clean my slow cooker and it really gets the job done. I add some warm, soapy water to the crock pot and use a Bounty paper towel to clean up the mess inside. The Bounty holds up perfectly and never tears and since it is more absorbent, the roll can last 50% longer.

When I am done cleaning the crock pot, I use another Bounty paper towel to dry it. Then it looks great and is ready to be put away until I need it again. Bounty is 2x more absorbent than the leading ordinary brand and will make you feel like an Olympic Games winner as it helps to clean up messes and spills in record time.

Enjoy cheering on your favorite athletes as you gather with friends and family to watch the Olympic Games.

Your recipe looks so good and it has the kids favorite ingredient, chicken. They would eat it for every meal. I don’t think I’d survive all of the clean up here without Bounty.

I use Bounty paper towels in every room of my house. They’re great for not only cleaning up spills but are great for dusting and wiping down the house too.
