I really, really wanted to show you a picture of how this dough looks when you just open the jar, but lets just say my spooning hand was quicker than my photo taking hand. It is just SO good! The kids and I each had some scoops before we began making these Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles.
- Just Cookie Dough Chocolate Chip
- Milk chocolate bars (I used bars with almonds because I like the nutty flavor, but plain milk chocolate would be great as well.)
I made 12 truffles with 1/3 jar of Just Cookie Dough and one large bar of chocolate.
Simply scoop out some chocolate chip Just Cookie Dough and roll it into 1 1/2 -2 inch balls.
Break the chocolate bar into smaller pieces and melt in microwave.
Roll the Just Cookie Dough balls into the melted chocolate and place on a a parchment lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for 20 minutes until the chocolate has set.
At this point, you can add a drizzle of chocolate to the top. If you do this, pop the truffles back into the refrigerator for another 15 minutes so the drizzle can harden.
Store the chocolate chip cookie dough truffles in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve them.
The cookie dough just melts in your mouth. No one will believe how easy these were to make thanks to Just Cookie Dough. They will be begging you for your chocolate chip cookie dough recipe. When you are done making these, you will have enough cookie dough left over for a batch of chocolate chip cookies. Finally, you don’t have to worry about sneaking a taste of the dough.
