Easter Blondies
Pastel M&M's are such a fun way to add a pop of color to your desserts, especially for spring and Easter. Mixing them into a traditional blondie recipe is a simple way to bring some extra chocolatey goodness to an already delicious treat.
Plus, easy desserts like this are perfect for using up any leftover Easter candy you’ve got lying around. I mean, we never have leftover Easter candy, but maybe you have a little more self control at your house.

Blondie Recipes
Blondie recipes are super popular because they’re easy to make and bring a fun twist to dessert time. Unlike brownies, they don’t use cocoa or chocolate. Instead, blondies have a rich, buttery taste with vanilla and brown sugar that remind me of a softer, chewier cookie.
They’re perfect if you’re craving something sweet but not overly chocolatey. If you haven’t tried them yet, Banana Blondies and Gingerbread Blondies are two great places to start.

What makes blondies even more fun is how customizable they are. You can toss in anything from nuts and candies to white chocolate or sprinkles. Recipes like Funfetti White Chocolate Blondies or even a festive Red White and Blue Blondies Recipe show just how creative you can get.
Ingredients For Easter Blondies Recipe
To make this Easter dessert, you will need flour, baking powder, salt, melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract and pastel colored M&Ms.

Supplies for Easter Blondies
To make blondies, you don’t need a ton of fancy equipment. A mixing bowl, a wooden spoon or silicone spatula, and a whisk will get you through the mixing process just fine. You’ll also need a 9x13 pan. If you have a hand mixer, it can help, but honestly, blondies are simple enough to mix by hand!

How to Make Easter Blondie Recipe
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Pour flour, salt and baking soda into a medium bowl and whisk together. Melt butter and pour it into a large bowl. Add brown sugar and granulated sugar to bowl with melted butter.

Mix together until thoroughly combined. Add 2 eggs and 3 teaspoons of vanilla extract to the melted butter and sugar mixture and mix well.

Add dry ingredients to bowl with wet ingredients. Gently fold flour mixture into the wet ingredients, taking care not to over mix. Pour most of the M&M candies into the batter.

Gently fold in the M&Ms to evenly distribute them.

Spread the batter into a greased 9x13 pan. Press some M&Ms into the top of the batter.
Bake the Easter blondies in a 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes. You want to be sure to take them out when they have browned on top but are still a little gooey in the middle. Remove from oven and let cool and cut them into bars.

Tips for Spring Blondies
Tip 1: Use pastel-colored candies or sprinkles to give your blondies that festive Easter look. M&M’s, mini eggs, or even chopped-up Easter-themed chocolates work great for adding color and extra flavor.
Tip 2: Lining your baking pan with parchment paper makes cleanup so much easier and helps when it’s time to lift the blondies out to cut them into squares. It also keeps the edges from sticking to the pan.
Tip 3: For a little extra sweetness and texture, swirl in some white chocolate chips or drizzle melted chocolate over the top after baking. It’s an easy step that makes your blondies a extra special.
