I love a good brownie as much as the next person, but sometimes I want a little change so we make blondies. Blondies are similar to brownies but they contain vanilla instead of cocoa and are made using brown sugar.
To make my normal blondie recipe even better, I added some pastel colored M&M's to make an Easter Blondies Recipe. These blondies are AMAZING! Seriously, the gooeyness and addition of the chocolate knock these out of the park.

Why this easy blondie recipe is great
- Pastel M&M's are super fun for spring and Easter
- Adding chocolate to a traditional blondie recipe
- Easy desserts like this one are a great way to use leftover Easter candy
Ingredients
To make this Easter dessert, you will need flour, baking powder, salt, melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract and pastel colored M&Ms.
While these ingredients make the most AMAZING blondies, adding ½ cup of white chocolate chips will really take these over the top!
How to make Easter Blondies
You will be using a 9x13 pan for this recipe. I love this one from Pyrex. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Pour flour, salt and baking soda into a medium bowl and whisk together.
Melt butter and pour it into a large bowl. Add brown sugar and granulated sugar to bowl with melted butter.
Mix together until thoroughly combined.
Add 2 eggs and 3 teaspoons of vanilla extract to the melted butter and sugar mixture and mix well.
Add dry ingredients to bowl with wet ingredients.
Gently fold flour mixture into the wet ingredients, taking care not to over mix.
Pour most of the M&M candies into the batter.
Gently fold in the M&Ms to evenly distribute them.
Spread the batter into a greased 9x13 pan. Press some M&Ms into the top of the batter.
Bake the Easter blondies in a 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes. You want to be sure to take them out when they have browned on top but are still a little gooey in the middle.
Remove from oven and let cool and cut them into bars. This Easter blondies recipe will make 16 servings.
