How to make 90 sec keto bread

The first step to making keto bread in a mug, is finding the perfect mug. You want a microwave-safe mug that is big enough so that the batter won't spill over the top as it cooks. I also like a mug that is not tapered in any way as it creates a more uniformed low carb bread.

Begin by placing the butter in your mug and melt butter in the microwave. Once that is done, add in the rest of your ingredients.

I use pink himalayan salt, but if you don't have any on hand, you can use table salt.

Mix the ingredients together with a fork or whisk until they are well blended.

Microwave for 90 seconds. You read that right - a 90 second bread recipe! One of the big perks of this keto bread (besides satisfying that craving for bread) is that it takes just 90 seconds to cook.

When it is done cooking, simply shake it out of the mug. If it sticks at all, running a knife along the edges should do the trick. Slice the bread.

Slice the low carb microwave bread. I usually manage to get 4 slices out of a mug. Now you can simply slather on butter and call it a day or you can pop it in the toaster to brown it.

I like to toast mine for a few minutes to make them a little crisper. Sometime I have even fried them in some butter in a pan and that is just delicious.

Now, I just like to top mine with butter and cream cheese. I never can decide on which one I want, so I make two with butter and two with cream cheese.

This keto bread in a mug has a wonderful flavor, and while you won't mistake it for your favorite bread, it is mighty tatsty and makes me feel like I am not depriving myself of bread. This has more the texture of a corn bread, but is it is still a delicious treat.

While I enjoy having this Keto microwave bread for breakfast, you can also make it and use it as the bread for a sandwich or the bun for a burger. Yum!

Hi. Made this also and whilst the flavor was good, the texture was very dry and seemed an effort to eat. Any suggestions please ? Cheers

Love this idea. I sliced it and cooked it like I would French toast. Just the sliced bread, didn’t dip it in egg. It’s great with syrup.

I've made cakes in a mug, but never even thought about bread in a mug! While I don't follow a keto eating plan, this still looks delicious!
