Today, I'm excited to share a recipe for a delicious One Point Cheesecake. Yes, you read that right - one point per generous slice! Considering the entire cake is only 4 points, it's a treat that's sure to satisfy your sweet tooth while keeping you on track.
This cheesecake has quickly become one of my favorite Weight Watchers friendly snacks. I'm especially excited about the Weight Watchers Freestyle plan, which offers over 200 zero-point foods, allowing for delicious recipes like this Two Ingredient Dough Calzone.

Why you'll love this WW 1 Point Cheesecake
What makes this cheesecake so good for you points-wise, is the fact that it is made with eggs and fat free Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese. When combined with Sugar Free Jello Cheesecake pudding mix, you have a tasty treat that comes pretty close to the real thing. You may be wondering if this tastes exactly like normal cheesecake. According to my Weight Watchers app, plain cheesecake has 18 points. This cheesecake has one point per slice and that is rounding up. So it doesn't taste exactly like cheesecake, but it is pretty darn close, and it is creamy and delicious.
Ingredients
- whole eggs
- packets of sweetener stevia
- vanilla
- non fat Greek Yogurt
- box of Jello Sugar-Free pudding mix in Cheesecake flavor
- strawberries
How to make One Point Cheesecake
When I make my version of one point cheesecake, I beat 3 eggs with 6 packets of sweetener (stevia) and 1 tablespoon of vanilla in a large mixing bowl. One tablespoon of vanilla is 1 point.
I then add 3 cups of fat free Greek Yogurt and 1 box of Jello Sugar Free pudding mix in Cheesecake flavor. The entire box of pudding mix is just 3 points. I beat all the ingredients until they are well blended. I find a hand mixer to be perfect for this job since you want all of the ingredients to be well blended and creamy.
Scoop the cheesecake batter into a greased pan. You can use a springform pan, pie plate or pie dish or a 9 inch round cake pan like I did. Spread the batter around, trying to make it as even as possible.
Bake for 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees until firm. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before moving to the refrigerator to cool for at least 3 hours. I found that it tastes best when cooled overnight.
I typically get between 6-8 slices of cheesecake from this, depending on how big I make the slices. It adds up to a point a slice either way, since the entire cake is 4 points. You can slice up the cake and serve as is, or personalize it in any way you wish.
My favorite topping for this one point cheesecake is strawberries. To add a colorful and tasty strawberry topping, simply clean and cut up a pint of strawberries. Add them to a saucepan along with 2 packets of sweetener and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Cook on medium heat until the strawberries start to reduce and a syrup starts to form. You will still have large chunks of strawberries left over. Remove mixture from heat and let cool.
Take ¼ cup of the strawberry mix and blend in a blender. I used my Magic Bullet and it took less than a minute. Then drizzle over individual slices of cheesecake. This topping adds a lot of flavor, but no additional points.
You can also add some chunks of strawberries on top of the syrup.
The fresh strawberries really take this one point cheesecake recipe up a notch. Try it yourself any time you have a cheesecake craving and are looking for a great dessert but want to stay on program.

Store this in the refrigerator in with the pan wrapped in plastic wrap for up to 4 days.
Sure! Any kind of berry or berry compote will work well as a topping for this weight watchers cheesecake recipe.
Stevia is my favorite, but you can use any sugar substitute such as Splenda or monk fruit sweetener. I would just recommend you use packets as that is the measurement I used when making this cheesecake.

Does it need to be refrigerated
Vicky
Yes it does.
Karen
I made this yesterday for my sisters birthday today. We just ate it and it was very good!
I left it in the oven for about 35 minutes for a darker edge. We will definitely be making this again.
Vicky
Glad you enjoyed it Karen!

Thank you Vicki! I just made this using SF vanilla pudding instead of the cheesecake. I added a half a cup of key lime juice because I absolutely love key lime pie. This is so delicious thank you! One thing though, the instructions for the topping didn't say to add water to the strawberries but I presume that that should be the case. Any recommendations on how much water to add?
Vicky
Thanks for checking in DeLonda. I actually didn't add any water to the strawberries. They just boiled down as they cooked.
Linda
Going to try this recipe but I am going to take it one step further and crush some low fat graham crackers and make a thin crust. And use my frozen blueberries for,the sauce.
Vicky
I like how you think Linda!

I tried this last night. I actually only had 2 cups of fat free Greek yogurt on hand, so I tossed that in and crossed my fingers. When I calculated the points (maybe because it was just 2 cups yogurt), it was 1 point per slice if you divide it in 4 (anything less feels too tiny), but I found it didn't taste cheese-cakey enough. It was more like a custard. So I calculated the points if i upped the eggs to four, did all three cups of yogurt, and added another box of the sugar-free, fat-free pudding mix and it would just be two points per slice when divided into four. Next time, I'll try that and check back with my results. 🙂
Vicky
Thanks for sharing your experience. It is good to know how it works with different tweaks.
April Walsh
I did the 2-point version and, I have to say, it was waaaaay tastier and worth the extra point. It just felt more like a treat.
Vicky
Glad you liked it April!
gale
can I use egg beaters instead of regular eggs and can I use sweet and low instead of stevia
Vicky
I think both would work fine.
Linda
No, Eggbeaters won't work as well as eggs because Eggbeaters has onion powder in it so it would make the flavors weird.
Carla
Thanks for this recipe, I love it! I have a slice a day. It feels like a splurge, not a compromise.
Vicky
Thanks so much Carla!
Debby
I made this recipe using lemon extract instead of vanilla. It added a little extra flavor to the cheesecake without adding any extra points. I also add a generous squirt of reddi whip for one point 😋
Vicky
That is worth the extra point in my book Debby!
Kelly
I could not find sugar free cheesecake jello in the store. Do you think it would taste good if I use sugar free chocolate fudge jello? I’m wondering / hoping it would taste like chocolate cheesecake!
Carla
Did you try the chocolate? If so, how was it.
Vicky
I haven't yet, but it is on my list!
Deb
I couldn't find it either...another we said she used vanilla with a bit of almond extract so i bought that..haven't tried it yet.
Lori
You can find it in King Kullen or on amazon
Vicky
I think that would be yummy. Please let me know if you try it.
Laurie
You are amazing Vicky. Thank you for taking the time and effort to make these delicious recipes. I am a foodie. So every bit helps. When i am eating your pizza ,bagels chili recipes I know i am getting quality food and portions ,which help me make better choices. Cause in the end Thin has never tasted so good .Bravo my compliments to the chef.
Vicky
Laurie, thank you so much for the kind words. Really. Sometimes on the internet it is so easy for people to hide behind a screen and leave rude comments, but to have someone take the time to lift other people up is always appreciated.
New to WW
Vicki, I'm going to be trying this recipe this week - other folks in my life have mentioned it to me as well. Our WW coordinator chimed in during the conversation to say that the topping you're laying out isn't zero point, though. Under the Freestyle guidelines apparently whole fruits are zero, but blended fruits are much higher. Has anyone else been told that, or had it debunked? Doesn't change the base recipe, but I'm being told to just roughly cut the strawberries or add other whole fruit because the topping would cost me several points as well and I'd rather not concede those points...
Vicky
I have heard that too, but the amount you per slice is pretty negligible in my opinion. I have made it without any topping and used a sugar free/calorie free chocolate syrup as well and that has been good too.
Tina
i’d. just slice up the strawberries and sprinkle with sweetener ( splenda) ripe sliced strawberries will make their own “juice” and can be spooned over.
Margaret Reilly
Excellent recepies and really enjoy making them and the plus is you still loose weight. Well Done!!
Vicky
Thank you Margaret!
Jennifer Smith
One thing that pisses me off on this new plan is how people will do ANYTHING to make a recipe as low or 0 points possible and it still doesn't taste good. I'd rather save up the points for a real slice of cheese cake.
Vicky
I think this cheesecake tastes very good, but it is not going to taste as good as regular cheesecake. You are right, nothing beats the real thing!
Angel
Totally agree
karen s brown
i love this recipe...i make mine a little different...it has 7pt for entire thing....i use 2pk of jello pudding....so much bettter flavor...i have a question....can reg plain yogurt be substituted for the greek...i know its still 0pts but will it cook the same?
Surfdancer
The sugar-free jello pudding contains aspartame, acesulfame K, artificial colors and preservatives.
The regular yogurt has no protein, which helps offset the sugar from lactose.
Let's be honest- I think many people who make this cheesecake will rationalize and eat more than 1 slice because of the low points. IMHO, this is why WW doesn't work for some.
Perhaps it's better to have a small slice of real cheesecake and just eat it really slowly and joyfully- or better yet, share with someone you love!
Anne Jones
Hey, creating these low point recipes is a challenge and I totally appreciate the works of these creative chefs..I appreciate these recipes ..have you ever taught what you are eating when you snarf down real cheesecake 😜
WW Works
Then do it. I appreciate the trial of low point recipes. Some I keep and some I don't. It is all about options.
Bev
The real thing will throw me off too much. I add some extras to the 1 pt. recipe like choc syrup and whipped cream. Also sugar free jellies work well. If I'm tempted to overdo it, I'd rather use the lower point items.
