If you have read Mess For Less for any length of time, then you know that I love crescent rolls. They are good on their own, but are just so versatile in terms of what you can do with them. In the past I have made Apple Pie Crescents and Pepperoni Pizza Crescents. When I was shopping the other day I noticed a can of strawberry pie filling, which gave me an idea. Read on for a great Strawberry Crescents Recipe. If you're a peanut butter lover, you don't want to miss these Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Crescents.

    Strawberry Crescents Recipe

    You will need:

    • Crescent rolls
    • Strawberry pie filling or strawberry preserves
    • Strawberry syrup

You can easily make these with kids just like our Strawberry Turnovers With Pie Crust Recipe. Just be sure to supervise them. My kids love to help out in the kitchen and eat what they make afterwards.

Preheat oven or toaster oven to 375 degrees. Unroll your crescents and separate them into triangles. Add a tablespoon of the strawberry pie filling near the top of the crescent. Roll up the crescent with the fruit in it. Some of the filling will be coming out of the crescent as you do this.

Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 11-13 minutes. I love this recipe because it can be made in the toaster oven. Talk about easy! If you notice the tops getting too brown when there is still cooking time left, just place some foil on top of the crescents and continue baking.

When they come out of the oven you can drizzle some strawberry syrup on top.

The hardest thing about making these is not eating them all at once. They are so yummy when they are warm! In our house these were a hit with the kids and the adults. Try our strawberry crescents recipe and see for yourself!

    FAQs For Strawberry Crescent Rolls

Can I use a different type of jam or filling?

Yes! Any fruit jam or preserves work well. You can also try cream cheese or Nutella for a different twist.

Do these need to be refrigerated?

If you’re serving them the same day, no need to refrigerate. For longer storage, place them in an airtight container in the fridge.

Can I make these ahead of time?

You can prep and fill them a few hours ahead and store in the fridge until ready to bake. They’re best served warm and fresh.

I can‘t believe you made this simple recipe to look like a high class dessert from high class restaurant. When I first saw the photos of recipe, I thought that it would be really difficult to prepare. I’m not good cooker so I was completely down seeing these beautiful photos and thinking that this recipe is only for good cookers. But I was wrong! It was so simple that I couldn’t believe that I made it perfect. I followed your instructions and the taste was heavenly. Thank you for sharing this nice recipe. Since it’s summer and there are lots of strawberries, this recipe is perfect for it. I’m thinking about trying it with raspberries. I think it would be as delicious as with strawberries! Waiting for your new recipes!
