Are you and your family Star Wars fans? Then you will love these Star Wars Snacks for Kids, which are honestly for kids of all ages. They are fun for a party, May the 4th or movie night. If you love easy snacks check these out! Another easy snack idea are Sour Patch Grapes!

Thanks to Bounty for sponsoring this post. All opinions are 100% my own.

Check out these fun Star Wars snacks for kids. My kids loved the Princess Leia cupcakes and Yoda kiwi snacks. #AD

During the Halloween season we partake in lots of fun activities such as pumpkin carving, making costumes and decorations and creating some fun snacks. If you have kids, you know that all of those activities can involve a bit of a mess. Bounty is here to help with the clean up and with their new Star Wars prints, your kids might actually want to help clean up. Mine did!

Whether your kids are fans of BB8, the Millennium Falcon™, lightsabers or Stormtroopers, they will flip for these Bounty paper towels with new Star Wars prints. They make mealtimes and cleanups more fun.

The Princess Leia cupcakes we made are perfect for celebrating Halloween, especially if your kids will be dressing up as their favorite Star Wars character. But you can also make them to enjoy the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi or any time your family settles in to watch a classic Star Wars movie.

The cupcakes are easy to make when you start with a box mix of your favorite cupcake flavor. You are more than welcome to use your favorite cupcake recipe as well, but you don't need to start from scratch. However you make your cupcakes, if you have kid helpers like I do, then you know all that help comes at a cost. Sometimes even the most careful kids can make a mess.

I put some Bounty paper towels with new Star Wars prints under our mixing bowl to catch any spills that might occur. My daughter was very careful when cracking the eggs for the cupcakes.

After mixing the cupcake batter, my daughter insisted on helping to pour the batter into the pan. This is something I usually do myself because of the potential for mess. But I am trying to encourage her independence, so I let her do it. As you can see, batter did spill on the pan, but she was able to easily clean it up with Bounty.

When the cupcakes had cooled, it was time to decorate them. We actually didn't get around to decorating them until the next day, but that was fine. To transform the cupcakes into Princess Leia, frost them with vanilla frosting. Try to make this base layer of frosting as smooth as you can since it will be the face.

Next, I scooped some chocolate frosting into a pastry bag. I used a size 4 tip on the pastry bag, but anything from a size 2-4 will work. My daughter was anxious to help with this part. She even put on her Darth Vader apron to keep the chocolate frosting off her clothing.

Squeeze lines of chocolate frosting onto the cupcake, starting in the middle to make the top portion of the hair.

I used 2 mini chocolate sandwich cookies (you know the kind with the cream filling in the middle) for the buns. I piped some of the chocolate frosting around the white cream center so the buns wouldn't have any white on them.

You can find edible eye decorations in the baking area of most stores or you can just pipe some of the chocolate frosting to make eyes. Pipe on some red icing for the smile and you are ready to go.

Since my kids only have cupcakes as a special once in a while treat, I was excited to make a Star Wars snack that they could enjoy all the time. Kiwis are one of our favorite after school snacks and you'll be surprised to see how easy they are to transform into little Yoda-like snacks.

To make these Yoda-inspired bites, you will need one kiwi, two toothpicks, one banana and 2 chocolate chips. Since you will need a knife to make this snack, have your kids take a break while you assemble it. Slice the two ends off of a kiwi and peel the skin off. Save one of the ends you sliced off and cut it in half to look like Yoda's two ears.

Attach the ears to the peeled kiwi using toothpicks.

You can use the rest of the kiwi scraps to make a mouth and a nose. Cut small slices of the bananas for the base of the eyes and add a chocolate chip on top of each banana slice. Since a sliced kiwi is wet, you don't need to use anything to affix the mouth, nose and eyes. I was able to move our Yoda kiwis around and the pieces stayed firmly in place.

Oh, what a fun treat! I'm glad that you encourage your daughter to try making these snacks by herself. It looks like you and your daughter had lots of fun making these! Great job to both of you!

Never would have thought to make Yoda out of a kiwi. It doesn't look half bad! 🙂
