Why you'll love this Easy Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe
This cheesy buffalo chicken dip is easy to make thanks to a supermarket shortcut. You can buy chicken that's pre-shredded to make this recipe super simple. Of course, you're always welcome to cook your own chicken and shred it yourself if you have the time. But if you are looking for quick and easy, then buy that pre shredded chicken and you are on your way to a delicious dip. I promise, no one will be able to tell the difference.
Ingredients
- Chicken
- Cheddar Cheese

- Buffalo Sauce
How do you make buffalo chicken dip
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. To make this chicken buffalo dip, you will need shredded chicken. As an easy shortcut, you can use rotisserie chicken. Or else you can just cook chicken breasts in the crock pot and shred them.
Pour the shredded chicken and cheddar cheese into a medium mixing bowl. Make sure to set some cheese aside to sprinkle on top later!
Now add a block of softened cream cheese. This adds some wonderful creaminess to the dip
Add the buffalo hot sauce to the mixture. I like Frank's RedHot Buffalo Wings Sauce to make this Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Chicken Dip, but feel free to use your favorite.
Mix the ingredients well, then spread them into an oven safe baking dish.
Remember that cheese you saved? Sprinkle it on top of the dip.
Bake this shredded chicken dip for 15 minutes at 350 degrees until it starts to bubble.
This is the best buffalo chicken dip recipe I've ever tried and it's made all the better because it only requires 4 ingredients.

We have never had leftovers to reheat because this stuff gets eaten FAST, but if you do, simply place the leftovers in a microwave safe dish and then cover and heat for 1-2 minutes. Stir, and if the dip is still cold, heat for another minute or two.
