You only need 5 ingredients to make this Crock Pot Mississippi Pot Roast. This is the best roast you will ever make, in my opinion and it is one of our favorite crock pot recipes. It is so tasty and tender, and the fact that it takes just 5 minutes to prep it and get it into the slow cooker makes it a great recipe for busy days.

Mississippi pot roast is a tender and buttery roast made with a pot roast or chuck roast. You add it to a crock pot along with butter, ranch and au jus seasoning packets and some pepperoncini. The result is a zesty, fall apart roast with a bit of a zing.
